Proper Maintenance of Filter Media & Electrode Plates

Step 1 Remove the power cord from electrical socket
Step 2 Slide off the back cover by pushing it gently to the left as shown below.
Step 3 Remove the filter by pushing down on the top and pulling it towards you. (similar to the action of changing a toilet paper roll)
Step 4 Insert the new filter into place keeping the Green Dot on top. Push down and away from you to enter the filter in place. Slide the back cover back in place.
Step 6 Plug the Aqua Viva power cord back into the electrical socket. Let the water run through ionizer for 2 minutes to eliminate any carbon powder before drinking
Step 7 Reset the filter life cycle by pressing on the "FUN" button from the control panel on top of the Aqua Viva water ionizer until you see the "Cln" showing on the LCD Display. Then click on the "SET" button once followed by pressing once on the "-" Reset button. You will notice that the filter life returns to 00000L. This completes the Filter Life Cycle Counter.
